A warm welcome to Richard Lee Primary School - a place where everyone can 'be the best they can be' It is important to us that our children feel happy and secure so that they can enjoy, learn, achieve and make good progress. We seek to offer them as many opportunities to find and explore their talents, interests and to contribute to our school community. We have a highly professional and dedicated staff team who seek to work in partnership with our families so that children thrive.
Our new building was officially opened on Thursday 10th September 2015 by the Minister of State for Education, Nick Gibb. We have a fantastic new building that gives us a great place for children to learn and teachers to teach.
We have wonderful bright classrooms with adjoining activity spaces and group rooms for learning.
- state of the art LED Screens in each classroom
- a studio for drama, music and - in the future - a radio station
- a technology 'Acorn' room with a high level use of mobile technologies
- a great hall space for P.E., clubs and performances
Our outdoor provision will give us lots of field space to use in all sorts of ways, including allotment areas. The woodland spinney running along the school border provides a great space for our Forest School work.
